I am a painter who specializes in landscape, and still life compositions. I work primarily with oils, acrylics, gouache and watercolor. My paintings are a reflection of my deep connection to the natural world and how it can provide a sense of peace and tranquility, especially in todays fast paced society.

The mediums I use vary from Oil or Acrylic Paint on Canvas, Gouache on linen or Mixed Media on Watercolor Paper. I also enjoy working with pastels. Recently I have been experimenting with mixed media on Yupo paper.

This body of work was inspired by runs on the local trails and quiet very early morning walks with my dog. I live in a rural area that supplies a lot of inspiration through nature. I am hypnotized by the light streaming through the trees and how it is reflected on the leaves in a multitude of shapes and colors.
